Caregiver Support & Training

At ABA Across Environments, we have learned that families who are a part of changing their own behaviors while involved in their child’s treatment experience greater positive outcomes.

Playing with Play Dough

Our Caregiver Advocacy team will make sure you are included in the setting of goals and objectives, the implementation of programming, and the facilitation of problem behavior management. They'll help you understand your child's individualized treatment plan while also providing training to help generalize ABA with ACT inside the home and valued environments. Together you will set a designated time each week to meet and communicate updates, answer questions, train, and address concerns that you have about your child’s treatment plan and progress.

Caregivers can schedule support and training meetings to a minimum of thirty-minutes to a maximum of one-hour per week. We understand taking care of children and a home comes with its own barriers. Meeting once a week can be a lot! Depending on insurance, we ask that you meet at least once per month with our Caregiver Advocacy team.

Training supports such as video models, severe behavior management training, and specific programs to address concerns that happen during off-hours, will be provided on a case-by-case basis. For caregiver resources, click the resource tab.
